Libra Full Moon — 2 April 2026
What's reflecting back at you
There is something about the Libra Full Moon that I have come to trust deeply over time… because 18 years ago, under this exact Full Moon energy, I consciously chose to focus on calling in love.
I remember sitting with it, very intentionally, very clearly, playing a very specifc Wendy Rule Song - Link is here, ( she then played this song live, as I walked down the aisle.....) During that full moon I tuned into what I truly wanted in a relationship, how I wanted to feel, what kind of connection I was ready for and what from the past I needed to really let go of, and a week later, I met the man who would become my husband. And we are still very happily together. We can use the Full Moon for serious magic and manifestation. Just use your own creativity and imagination.
So this Full Moon can be incredibly potent when it comes to relationships, connection, and what we are ready to receive… but also, what we are ready to see refelcted back to us.
Libra is often spoken about as the sign of love, beauty, harmony… and yes, it is all of those things.
But from an evolutionary perspective, Libra is also where we meet ourselves through the other.
It is the mirror and the place where we begin to understand who we are… by seeing what is reflected back to us in relationship.
And so this Full Moon is not just about connection…it’s about the truth of connection and what we want to see and what we might be avoiding.
With the Moon in Libra and the Sun, Chiron, Neptune and Saturn in Aries, we are sitting right inside that very real polarity of:
My needs vs our needs,
My truth vs keeping the peace
Independence vs connection
And this can feel like a kind of internal pull. Part of us may just want things to feel calm, balanced, harmonious…but another part of us may be quietly — or not so quietly — noticing… “This doesn’t feel quite right anymore.”
And that’s important, because Libra, in its shadow, can lean toward people-pleasing, over-giving, smoothing things over, avoiding discomfort in order to maintain connection and well, this doesnt really sit very well with Aries energy. Aries, brings us back to ourself, our truth, instinct, and our needs, even if that disrupts the dynamic.
So this Full Moon may bring up very honest questions:
Where am I losing myself in order to stay connected?Where am I holding back what needs to be said? And equally… where might I need to meet the other more fully?
Everything Feels Amplified Right Now
With both the Sun and Moon squaring Jupiter in Cancer, everything is heightened. Emotions feel bigger and reactions might be stronger. What you have been tolerating may suddenly feel harder to ignore. Jupiter in Cancer brings in emotional memory, sensitivity, and the need for safety, so what you’re feeling may not just be about the present moment it might feel multi layered, where
old emotions, patterns, and old ways of relating… rise to the surface to be seen more clearly.
And while this can feel overwhelming at times… it is also incredibly revealing.
The Deeper Work — Venus Square Pluto
And then we move into the deeper layer of this Full Moon as we also have Venus — the ruler of Libra — having just entered Taurus, which is actually so supportive, because it is asking us to come back into our body, senses, values, and self-worth and sense test how these are feeling espeically in our relationship to others so we can stabilise internally and reconnect with what feels true and grounded for us.
However......at the same time, Venus is squaring Pluto and this is where things get stirred up and we are called to look beyond the surface into the deeper dynamics underneath our relationships and explore where power, attachment, control, fear of loss and the invisible agreements we have made, without realising it, might need some recallibration
So this can feel intense but it's also where transformation happens.
So, this Full Moon might trigger a need to transform the relationship into something more honest.
The Bigger Theme — Ideal vs Reality
Woven through all of this is a deeper collective theme…with the tension between what we long for… and what is actually real and this applies both personally and collectively where we are hoping for what could be and what life and love actually looks like in its current form
So you may find yourself asking:
Am I seeing this clearly? What am I holding onto because I want it to be true? And what is actually real… even if it’s uncomfortable?
This is about bringing our hopes into alignment with reality, so they can actually be lived.
How to Work With This Full Moon
1. Name the Imbalance
Before trying to fix anything… simply notice where the energy is not equal or out of balance in any of your relationships ? Where are you giving more than you are receiving… or holding back what is true in order to keep the peace?
2. Stay With Yourself in the Moment
Notice where you tend to leave yourself to maintain connection.
Can you remain present with yourself… even when it feels uncomfortable?
3. Make One Clear, Honest Shift
Not everything needs to change at once.
This might be:
A boundary
A conversation
A simple “no” or “this doesn’t feel right”
Small, honest shifts are powerful right now.
4. Come Back to Your Values
Venus in Taurus reminds you:
Your worth is not something you negotiate.
Release Work — What Are You Ready to Let Go Of?
This Full Moon is powerful for release.
Consider letting go of:
People-pleasing patterns
Fear of conflict
The need to keep the peace at any cost
Old relationship dynamics that no longer reflect who you are becoming
Resentments you may be holding
Ask yourself:
What am I holding onto that is keeping me out of alignment with myself?
A Simple Full Moon Ritual
You don’t need anything elaborate.
Keep it grounded, intentional, and honest.
1. Create a quiet spaceLight a candle if you feel drawn.
2. Reflect honestlyWrite down:
Where am I out of balance in my relationships?
What truth have I not fully acknowledged?
What do I actually need?
3. Write what you are ready to releaseBe specific.
Patterns, dynamics, fears.
4. Speak it out loudThis is important.
Let your voice meet your truth.
5. Close with intentionPlace your hand on your heart and ask:
What would it look like to stay with myself… while still being open to love?
Work with me
This Full Moon is not asking you to choose yourself or the relationship, it’s asking you to learn how to be yourself within the relationship.
